Live Music with Hair Magic, RGD & The Nowhere

We are excited to introduce two new Highland Park bands to the fold of the local talent. Hair Magic & The Nowhere. Both bands are making debut performances on this night and there will be magic in the air!

First up is “Hair Magic” This 3 piece all female trio is already infamous! With Christie Lutz/ Drums, Jennifer Rector/Guitar vocals and Christine Espiritu /bass.

Next up is RGD who just released there debut album “Northern Late Nights” RGD is Ryan Stalcup/vocals & drums, Gary Kaplan/vocals & guitars and Dave Jones/bass.

Headlining the show is “The Nowhere” with local hero's John Crocco/Drums, Adam Keller/vocals & guitar/ Brian Onken /Guitar and Dave Jones /Bass. These guys are sure to rock your socks off! ( Rumore has it ...Brian & Christine are an item and Dave is in 3 bands & 2 are playing this gig! )

Tickets are $45 and include a reception cocktail and 5 tasting glasses of Mezcal paired with the menu below, in addition to informative wine notes from our Mezcal expert.

Course 1: Paired with Gracias a Dios Espadin Blanco
Local Hothouse Tomato Salad-compressed with mango, queso fresco, avocado and smoked chili.

Course 2: Paired with Gracias a Dios Agave Ginebra
Day Boat Scallop Tostadas-crispy tortillas, jicama, peppers, lime, chiccaron mayonnaise.

Course 3: Paired with Gracias a Dios Tobola Agave Silvestre
Roasted Fish Tacos-Mahi Mahi, tomatillo salsa, cabbage, cilantro, beer batter fritters.

Course 4: Paired with Gracias a Dios Cuixe Agave Silvestre
Grilled Roasted Pork Loin-Mole sauce, black beans, stewed and crispy plantains.

Course 5: Paired wtih Gracias a Dios Espadin Reposado
Pan Dulce-Coffee custard with Mexican chocolate.

Hub City Music Festival-48 Hour Musicals

1st: THIS IS A CRAZY IDEA.
2nd: WE WILL CREATE SOME REALLY EXCITING MUSIC AND PERFORMANCE.
3rd: We're raising money for ELIJAH'S PROMISE! An incredible local charity that treats local homeless with respect, provides work training, and helps with job placement.

Three new short musicals will be created, rehearsed, and performed by local DIY bands paired with writers, directors, and actors in 48 hours, April 21 - 23. Come join us on Sunday, 4/23 at 6pm at Pino's to have a beer and hear the fruits of their labor. $5 suggested donation to Elijah's Promise. Tickets can be made in advance to secure your seat to the show, atwww.colab-arts.org/48hour-musicals.

Cacao is a shade grown plant requiring a foliage canopy to grow. Cacao farmers maintain the rainforests which provide natural symbiotic canopies for the plant. 

All our ingredients are organic, which means no unnecessary toxins, chemicals or pollutants are pumped into the environment. Our packaging is recycled and the inks we use are non-toxic and vegetable based.
